Consignment Merchandise Refund Policy

Merchandise may be returned at the buyer's expense within 30 days of purchase.

Returns are only accepted for merchandise purchased directly from The Knotty Occultist website. Returned items must be received in new, unused, and re-sellable condition. The original packaging and any protective coverings and product information must still be on the product and in the packaging. Shipping costs of returned items are non-refundable. Items that are soiled, damaged, or altered may not be accepted and may be sent back to the customer.

If you are returning an item for an exchange, you will need to return it for a refund. Once this is done, you will then need to make a new purchase for the item you want.

Returns received after 30 days of original receipt may be accepted at the discretion of The Knotty Occultist. Returned items which were purchased as gifts will be dealt with on an individual basis.

If merchandise is received in a damaged or defective state, please contact theknottyoccultist@gmail.com right away so we may replace it for you.

Reading Refund Policy

All sales of consignment merchandise, denoted on consignment product pages, are final at the time of sale. We offer no returns or refunds for consignment merchandise for logistical reasons.

All sales of commissioned merchandise, denoted on consignment product pages, are final at the time of sale. We offer no returns or refunds for commissioned products due to the time invested in their creation.

We provide readings for clients pertaining to magic, spiritwork, and real life matters. Readings are meant as a supplement, not a substitute, to other magical practices and lifeways. We do not provide love readings nor are we qualified to diagnose any physical or mental illness. We accept readings on a case-by-case basis. If we feel we are unable to perform a reading for ethical reasons, we will issue a refund within 7 days of purchase and provide an explanation to the client we turned down. All non-mediumship readings will be delivered via email within 14 days of sale. All mediumship readings will be delivered within 21 days of sale. Except in rare cases where we have to refuse a client for ethical reasons, all purchased readings are final at the point of sale.
